The Eyre Peninsula NRM Board comprises nine (9) voting members – appointed by the Governor on the nomination of the Minister. These members ‘collectively have the knowledge, skills and experience to enable the Board to carry out its function effectively’ (Section 25 of the Natural Resources Management Act 2004).
In short, our Board members are skilled local people, residing in varying locations across Eyre Peninsula and have important skills and experience in natural resources management.
The Eyre Peninsula Natural Resources Management Board currently comprises of the following members:

- Sandra McCallum
- Evelyn Poole
- Sean O’Brien
- Tony Irvine
- Cecilia Woolford
- Karen Burrows
- Russell Bambridge
- Alan Dodd
Pursuant to section 25(11) of the Natural Resources Management Act 2004, the Minister may authorise a person or persons to attend any meeting of a regional NRM Board in order to represent the interests of the Commonwealth, the State or Local Government.
Six (6) Agency Representatives have been appointed to the Eyre Peninsula NRM Board. These are non voting Board members and currently include:
- Ben Bruce (DWLBC)
- Helen Lamont (PIRSA)
- Glyn Ashman (SA Water)
- Ross Belcher (DEH)
- Geoff Dodd (Local Government)
- Mark Chesworth (Australian Government)
